The Project Oversight Group was established to oversee the initial phases of implementing Moodle as UCLA's common collaboration and learning environment (CCLE).

Responsibilities:

October 06 - March 07:

Oversee the preliminary planning for implementation of the CCLE
Support the IT Governance review process
Develop campus outreach and participation process
Provide an experimental system for testing by UCLA community

April 07 - September 07: Alpha Service

Oversee the early implementation of CCLE service, including

System Operations
Integration of CCLE with campus systems & data
Identify and test core functionality
Develop support services
Build migration expertise and process
Identify and work with potential early adopters

Engage UCLA community in CCLE implementation
Provide information and respond to queries
Build working relationship with the Moodle community of users and developers
Work with CCLE detailed planning team
