Eleanor Koehl supports the development and execution of OARC's research facilitation practices to enhance digitally enabled research opportunities for UCLA faculty and graduate students. She works closely with the OARC Research Technology Groups, the Institute for Digital Research in Education (IDRE), and other campus partners to promote OARC’s mission of fostering data-driven research at UCLA.  

She was previously Associate Director for Outreach and Education Services for the HathiTrust Research Center and Digital Scholarship Librarian at HathiTrust. Throughout her career, she has advanced research capabilities for digital scholarship such as through contributions to grant-funded, national-level projects, including developing a professional development curriculum on text analysis for librarians, leading a national forum on research with use-restricted data, and collaborating on a summer institute about legal literacies for text data mining. Her areas of scholarship and expertise include workshop facilitation, researcher consultation, and research needs, particularly in digital humanities.
